PixAlert Launches New Screen Monitor - v.5.1
Monitoring Screen Content for Inappropriate Image and Content
PixAlert is launching the new PixAlert Screen Monitor v.5.1.
PixAlert Monitor is a centrally managed software system for real time image monitoring, analysis and reporting of illicit content being displayed on your corporate systems.
Screen Monitor 5.1 is a brand new software offering that replaces PixAlert’s Monitor Server 2.4. It is been thoroughly re-designed, based on client – server architecture using the latest Microsoft technology – .Net 4.5, Server 2012, SQL Server 2014, communication – WCF and Web MVC. The latest version is also compatible with Windows 10.
Screen Monitor 5.1 has been highly optimised to reduce processing and data transfer overhead, it is managed via a sleek new web application accessed via any Web Browser. The reviewing and reporting process has been streamlined and optimised to reduce the workload of Screen Monitor admins. Agents can be configured easily to suit the customer’s needs. Agents have been designed to run fast and efficiently using the least amount of resources as possible on any Microsoft Operating System.
Screen Monitor 5.1 resides on client PCs throughout an organisation, monitoring screen content for inappropriate image and content. If the content viewed on the client’s PC exceeds a set sensitivity level, comprehensive details such as machine name, username, date-time and program used, along with an encrypted copy of the inappropriate image and content material are recorded on the client PC. When the PC is connected to the corporate network, these details are sent to central server located remotely.
Authorised staff can easily connect to review the captured images and associated data and if required take appropriate action (such as record the details to a case file).
As the solution is multi-threaded maximum performance is guaranteed, across all sized organizations.
Analyse all screen images in real-time & identify inappropriate image content, with minimal impact on performance.
Analysis happens on images being viewed in real time, from any source including Internet, Email, Microsoft Office documents, proprietary and encrypted file formats, USB key, digital camera and unsecured networks.
Not only does the PixAlert Monitor reduce reputational risk, it also reduces the financial risk of litigation and exposure. Using the PixAlert monitor also demonstrates social responsibilities and good governance procedures.
